Common questions
Who can come?
Every Cub Scout in Pack 42, kindergarten through grade 5, and their families. Scouts in Troop 42 and Venturing Crew 42 are welcome to take part with an act, a square, or a job. Siblings, friends, and families curious about Scouting are welcome too, and friends can join a group act.
What does it cost?
Nothing. The Show is free.
What should we bring?
Yourselves. If your Scout is doing an act, bring the props and send any music to hello@family42.com ahead of time so it's downloaded before the day. Cub Scouts make their squares at a den meeting; Troop 42 and Venturing Crew 42 Scouts, and anyone who still needs a square, can make one at the square station when they arrive.
How long does it run?
Doors open at 2:00 PM and the program runs about 90 minutes including arrival. The room is ours until 4:00 PM, so there's time to look at the quilt before we finish.
Will there be photos?
Yes. With a family's permission on the sign-up, we may share photos from the Show publicly, and we never put names with them. Families who don't give permission stay out of shared photos, and everyone is welcome to photograph their own kids. A group sign-up doesn't give permission for other families' children.
Who do we ask?
Write to hello@family42.com. That mailbox reaches the Show's organizers, all adults, and it's the right place for every question about the Show. Scouts, ask a parent, guardian, or leader to write for you.
